Lawyers sometimes forget that their clients are new to the insurance claim and litigation process.  When we meet a new client, one of the first things we discuss is the role of the lawyer.

Although some might disagree, the lawyer's job is NOT what to tell the client to do.  A good lawyer's role is to explain the process; outline the facts, and the law, for the client, and to give sound advice.  We encourage questions!

When looking for a lawyer, ask as many questions as you have.  His or her job is to answer, and to answer in a way that makes sense to you.

Over the next few weeks, we will do a series of Blogs with an overview of the personal injury claim process.  But keep in mind.  No Blog, no article, is a substitute for asking questions (AND GETTING THEM ANSWERED!)
