We get asked this question a lot. And usually, the answer is no. A settlement agreement in a personal injury case is a contract that can be enforced by the Court. In some cases, even a verbal settlement is binding! The time to talk to a lawyer is BEFORE you accept the insurance company's offer. After, it may be too late, even if your injuries are worse then you thought.
There are circumstances, however, where an agreement may not be binding (usually involving some type of fraud).
